Jones Bay at dawn

Jones Bay on the Tawharanui peninsula in New Zealand is oft-ignored, situated before the predator fence and away from the main campsite and beach, it is mostly driven past by tourists visiting the park. This photograph was taken at dawn, before setting mist netting to capture and ring a male Tui.
